Separett Ejectortank
Separett Ejectortank
SKU:1013-03
With the Separett Ejectortank, urine is automatically diluted to the correct mixture of eight parts water to one part urine, allowing plants to absorb the nutrients without harm. This way, the urine, which contains most of our beneficial waste, can be easily spread in flower beds, gardens, lawns, or shrubs.
The 13.2 gallon volume is sufficient for vacation homes with spreading every other week or every third week. A float indicates when the tank is full. The Separett Ejectortank is easy to install and has no moving parts.

Function
For optimal operation, the Ejector tank requires access to water with a pressure of at least 2.5 bar (36 psi). With access to higher water pressure, it can handle greater height differences between the spreader nozzle and the tank.
Use
To empty the Ejector Tank, connect a standard garden hose with a 1/2” quick coupling (“Gardena coupling”) to the corresponding coupling on the tank. Pull out the included 3/4” hose and remove any kinks. Open the water tap; the water flows through the 1/2” hose into the ejector, sucking the urine along and pushing the mixture into the 3/4” hose. Regardless of water pressure (minimum 2.5 bar / 36 psi), the mixing ratio will always be approximately 1:8. When the tank is empty, a slurping sound will be heard.
Maintenance
After emptying the Ejector Tank, the ejector nozzle and suction hose should be cleaned by stopping the water flow in the discharge hose for a minute. The easiest way to do this is by pressing the spray nozzle into the lawn or folding the hose. The amount of water that then flows back through the suction hose into the tank will clean the nozzle and suction hose of any salt deposits from the urine. The tank can then be emptied again by reopening the flow in the discharge hose.
Storage in the cold
Empty and clean the tank. Disconnect the 1/2” hose. Empty the 3/4” hose as much as possible.

Installation instructions
Installation instructions
The Ejector Tank should be positioned so that the urine hose has a downward slope all the way from the toilet to the tank. If you are using a Separett Villa, the urine hose does not need to be sealed where it inserts into the Ejector Tank's lid because the vacuum from the toilet fan will draw in any odors coming from the urine.
Since the Ejector Tank does not need to be moved for emptying and cleaning, it can be buried so that only the lid is above ground. The only thing to keep in mind is that the discharge height should not be higher than approximately 5 feet above the tank, as this would reduce the ejector function (suction of urine).
