Warranty terms
- This warranty applies only to newly purchased toilet solutions and other products sold by Separett Inc. For consumer customers, the product warranty period is 1 to 5 years from the original delivery date. Please check the product information for the warranty period that applies to your specific product. Certain product components are subject to normal wear and may have a shorter warranty period regardless of the warranty period of the product itself. The fan is covered by a 3-year warranty. Products used in connection with business or commercial activities are covered by a 1-year warranty, regardless of product type. Spare parts are covered by a 3-month warranty.
- If all required information in the warranty claim has been completed correctly, and the start date of the warranty can be verified by proof of purchase, Separett Inc., hereinafter referred to as the supplier, will assume responsibility under this warranty, except in the exclusions described in Section 5. The customer must be able to present proof of purchase in connection with a warranty claim or complaint. If the issue is deemed to be covered by warranty, the supplier will cover the cost of the necessary replacement parts and standard shipping of those parts to the customer. The warranty does not cover labor, installation, removal, troubleshooting, inspection, or any other service-related costs unless otherwise required by applicable law. The customer must notify the seller or supplier within a reasonable time after discovering the defect, and no later than one week from the date the defect was discovered. Continued use after discovering a defect may lead to additional parts failing or to the product not working as intended. Continued use after the defect has been discovered may void the warranty. The customer will receive instructions for further action from the supplier or seller.
- For troubleshooting and inspection, the customer must follow the instructions provided by the supplier or seller. The customer may be required to provide documentation or other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the warranty claim. To submit a warranty claim or complaint, please send an email to contact.us@separett.com.
- If the issue is deemed to be covered by warranty, replacement parts will be provided within a reasonable time after the warranty claim has been approved. A reasonable time is determined based on factors such as the availability of replacement parts, shipping conditions, and the information needed to evaluate the claim.
- The warranty granted by the supplier does not cover defects or deficiencies caused by normal wear and tear or corrosion that do not affect the functionality of the toilet. The warranty also does not cover damage caused by customer negligence, misuse of the product, incorrect use, an unsuitable operating environment, accidents, or external events, including but not limited to lightning, storms, flooding, or similar events. The customer is not entitled to reimbursement for service work, labor, installation, removal, troubleshooting, inspection, or other related costs. The warranty does not apply if parts other than original parts have been used, if the product has not been installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, if use of the product has continued after the defect was discovered, if the product has been used more intensively than intended, if normal care has not been observed during use, or if the product has not been maintained in accordance with any applicable maintenance program. The warranty does not cover products that have been used in any type of rental activity. The supplier reserves the right to evaluate warranty coverage on a case-by-case basis using professional judgment.
- The warranty does not cover shipping damage. Any shipping damage must be reported to Separett Inc. immediately upon receipt of the product. It is important to inspect the condition of the product at the time of delivery.
- If the issue is found not to be covered by warranty, the customer is responsible for any costs related to the issue, including but not limited to replacement parts, shipping, inspection, troubleshooting, or handling, where applicable.
- Any disputes relating to the interpretation of these warranty terms will first be addressed through good-faith efforts to reach an agreement. If no agreement can be reached, disputes shall be handled in accordance with applicable law in the United States.
