Let customers speak for us
from 85 reviewsWas so nice to replace the top section of our Villa that we have been using full time for 6 years. It was a very easy changeout - just 4 screws and I did it alone in about 15 minutes. Took more time to find the allen wrenches than to complete the changeout.

The black bags are great, but you have to be careful when opening your packing cause the first bag will tear cause of the sticky wrap

We have not started using the toilet yet. Our builder removed the toilet seat from the unit, and we could not figure out how to get it back on. We asked for help, and we were sent the perfect video immediately the next morning. Our builder also lost some critical screws. We wrote to ask and received the full description as to where to buy them including a link the very next morning. Polite, really nice folks. I dealt with three separate people. I am sooooooooo impressed!!!!
Product arrived on time and in excellent condition, with all parts and instructions. Set up was straightforward and instructions very clear. The product is sleek, lightweight, and well-made. Overall very pleased with the product and ordering experience.

Installed my new fan yesterday with such ease. The fan works like a charm! I am extremely pleased. Such a great product and such a great company.

I have been using the Tiny for a couple of years. The only problem was sometimes the urine would leak if someone went hard & fast. The upgrade kit solved that. Very happy. I think the best toilet out there. The bag system makes it all so easy.

I just used my last gasket, so I ordered a few more to have on hand.

Definitely enhances the feel and function of the toilet. Because the Tiny is installed in a van bath and requires a “sideways” approach, the original seat felt like it shifted as you sat down, and we were having occasional failures of the gasket when rinsing the bowl. All is better now, and we’re loving the Tiny!

You definitely need these to help prevent urine crystals from forming and clogging the line. They also help with smell.

Exact fit (as expected) and complete, quality replacement of the whole top half of the toilet (all cables, connectors, springs, attachments, etc.). Very satisfied with the replacement and the toilet overall!

The front stabilizer kit was a game changer for me. I’m so glad that this was provided. It made the seat very stable. It does not wobble at all when sitting on it. It also provides no leakage which happened occasionally. Highly Recommend.

I got quick and friendly service, and there was no hint of corporate odor in my transaction. Five stars!

I acquired this toilet from a friend and had it working for a few months when my fan or 24 V transformer went out based on suggestions of separate they told me to go 12 V and it comes with an amazing adapter that works all over the world! I know he will be using this in a future Bathroom and my new Barn.

I bought the Villa Extend in lieu of putting in a $10k septic in my off grid cabin. The build, fit, and finish are excellent. We have been using a home made composting toilet with the Separett styrofoam seat and urine diverter, and a five gal bucket, but I wanted something that looked good and could be used for extended periods without changing. Before that I used another brand that we couldn’t use bags with and it was nasty. We had to take the top off the toilet off and empty the bottom into a bag, and changing the urine bottle was even worse. I should have just bought the Villa in the first place. The install was relatively simple though my cabin already had some necessary features: French drain. The fan is plenty powerful, and we haven’t noticed any smell inside. It is definitely worth the money.

Happy to report these do their job very well.

How Do Composting Toilets Work?
Composting toilets separate liquids from solids, diverting urine while solid waste is processed in a composting chamber. This method accelerates the breakdown of solid waste, turning it into compost while reducing odors. Separett’s advanced composting systems enhance this natural process with innovative technology, ensuring a clean and user-friendly experience. Waterless systems like ours are particularly effective in off-grid settings, offering both hygiene and convenience.

The Benefits of a Composting Toilet
Composting toilets offer numerous benefits, including reduced water usage, minimized environmental impact, and efficient waste management. By separating liquids and solids, these toilets facilitate easier waste processing and composting, making them ideal for urban, rural, and mobile living environments. Separett’s eco-friendly toilets conserve water, reduce sewage needs, and contribute to a sustainable lifestyle. Our range is perfect for off-grid and on-grid living, offering convenience without compromising the environment.

The Secret of Separating the Waste
Efficient waste separation is key to successful composting. Separett’s urine-diverting technology ensures that liquid and solid waste are managed separately, reducing odors and enhancing the composting process. The nasty smell of a latrine comes from the waste reacting with each other and ip to 80 % of the smell can be removed only by simply separating the liquids from the solids. This separation is crucial in off-grid settings, where waterless operation and efficient waste management are essential for sustainable living. Remember that ventilation is needed to ensure a completely odorless experience.

How Much Does a Composting Toilet Cost?
The cost of a composting toilet varies depending on the model, features, and design.
